Note: IDCamp scholarships are only open for Indonesian / Warga Negara Indonesia 🇮🇩, so if you are Indonesian reader you may proceed. 😉
IDCamp is Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison's scholarship program to produce young Indonesian developers who are ready to compete in the digital economy. This program is one of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in the Digital Education pillar as an effort to build Indonesia as a Digital Nation.
IDCamp 2022 provides online coding training scholarships in 8 main Learning Paths that are available starting from basic (beginner), intermediate (intermediate), advanced (expert), and professional (professional).
At the end of the program, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Dicoding will help the best digital talents from IDCamp graduates to get global certifications and access jobs.
Learning Path :
- Android Developer
- Front End Developer
- iOS Developer
- Machine Learning Developer
- Back-End Developer
- Multiplatform App Developer
- React Web Developer
- and DevOps Engineer
From my experience, as an IDCamp 2021 Scholarship student, I chose Back-End Developer learning path, and got help from facilitators on WhatsApp group chat and an online discussion forum to speed up self-paced learning class on Dicoding platform.
And it's all free 🆓🆓🆓.
Soon after successfully registered IDCamp 2021 Scholarship, I got follow-up email about a Scholarship token to claim basic and beginner Back-End Developer learning classes on Dicoding platform.
And after I completed basic and beginner Back-End Developer classes, i succeed to join the next class: "Back-End Developer Fundamental". I was so happy because I made it to fundamental class, where i can learn to make a RESTful API nodejs application with Database, Storage, Authentication, and Authorization.
But unfortunately, I didn't made it to Back-End Developer Expert class because not have good enough application submissions ratings in fundamental class 😥
And that's okay. “For indeed, with hardship will be ease. Indeed, with hardship will be ease” [Qur’an, 94:5-6] 😎🤩
and if you are One Piece fans (sorry guys, I have to 🤣), you surely know how Luffy was failed to save his nakamas from Kuma and Kizaru's attacks on Sabaody, and made time skip, like went missing for a while (3̶ ̶d̶a̶y̶s̶ ➡2 years) to full training and grinding.
And come back again to Sabaody with full power after training with Master Rayleigh. Reunite again with Mugiwara's nakamas to continue the journey.

I hope I can make my own SaaS business someday with this Back-End Dev knowledge. And I hope we can achieve all of our own dreams/goals, Aamiiiin insya Allah.
Anyway, I join this year's IDCamp 2022 scholarship program too, but I choose DevOps Engineer learning path rather than Back-End Developer again 😆
