Somehow another month has gone past and it’s already the end of June, and June 2022 has made me a busy month because I must start making progress on the "learning scholarships" that I applied for before.
All learning scholarships are held online, and only open for Indonesian / Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI).
#1 Professional Academy by Digitalent Kominfo Scholarship
My first one of the learning scholarships is Professional Academy by Digitalent Kominfo with the topic "Associate Cloud Engineer".
This course was open to registration from April - May 2022, and start learning by 17 May 2022 until 15 July 2022.
In this course, there are three classes that I learn:
- Learn Basic of Google Cloud
- Become Google Cloud Engineer
- Associate Cloud Engineer Exam Preparation
These three classes are hosted on Dicoding platform in partnership with Kominfo.
The important thing about joining this course is I must register free trial on Google Cloud Platform, which I never started of free trial on Cloud Platform before just because I don't have any credit card. 😆
But, kinda challenging for me, because for the first project submission in the "Become Google Cloud Engineer" class, I must host an HTML profile application in the Google App Engine service, which connects with the Cloud Storage bucket.
So I tried to apply Free Trial on GCP first and turns out to face an error OR-CBAT-15 which I posted on this blog before (a debit card problem ✌). After creating a Cloud Identity and Cloud Organization and making my Gmail account as a billing administrator, then I successfully apply a free trial on GCP 😅
On the final project submission of this 2nd class (Become Google Cloud Engineer class) is I must host an Application with the Front End deployed on Google App Engine, the Back-End deployed in Google Compute Engine, uses Cloud SQL to host Database, and implemented on Cloud IAM principle of least privilege to Reviewer team to check.
The application was provided by Dicoding (which mean I don't code).
And the last class of this course is "Associate Cloud Engineer Exam Preparation".
Actually, I finished my first-time attempt at the Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) exam long ago in December 2021 which I posted on here Coba Sertifikasi Google ACE Pertama kali ( 🇮🇩 Bahasa Indonesia language) and Failed 🙃.
So, with this ACE exam preparation class, I hope that I can prepare, practice, and exercise well about Cloud Engineering on Google Cloud Platform for the next ACE Exam. 🤯
#2 IDCamp Scholarship 2022
The second one of my learning scholarships is IDCamp Scholarship 2022.
This course was open to registration from 27 May - 4 September 2022, and start learning by 27 May - 4 September 2022.

#3 LiFT Scholarship 2022
on 5 April 2022, I tried to apply for The Linux Foundation Training Scholarship which I posted here.
LiFT (The Linux Foundation Training) Scholarship is a scholarship offered by The Linux Foundation at no cost, which cover the expenses for one eLearning class and one certification exam.
There are several questions when I applied for to LiFT Scholarship :
- Tell us about how you've used Linux or other open-source software in your work environment and what the results have been. How will open-source training help demonstrate your level of expertise to peers and potential employers (limit 1000 characters)?
- For which training course are you seeking a scholarship? Have you enrolled in a Linux Foundation Training course before?
- Please describe your educational background. (limit 500 characters) *
- What has been your experience with using and/or developing open-source software? (limit 700 characters) *
- Why are you deserving of a LiFT Scholarship? (limit 700 characters) *
- Why is learning more about open source important to your future (limit 1000 characters)?
And then finally, after waiting a few months, they announced The Shubhra Kar Linux Foundation Training (LiFT) Scholarship 2022 on this month (June 2022).
Alhamdulillah, I got selected as one of the LiFT Training Scholarship recipients. 🌟
Which I posted here :
I applied for Professional Academy by Digitalent Kominfo Scholarship in April 2022, and start learning in June 2022.
I applied for IDCamp Scholarship 2022 in May and start learning in June 2022.
Lastly, I applied LiFT Scholarship 2022 in April, and I got the scholarship on June 2022 but there is still time to complete the course, I must finish it in 1 year.
That's all folks !
Thanks for reading.
